Help for the Newsletter Editor Program
Your local association’s newsletter is one of the best-read union publications. Your members are interested in reading about people they know and issues, decisions, services, and events that directly affect them.

With the many different demands on your time, it can be challenging to find time to write newsletter articles on a regular basis. The Help for the Newsletter Editor program can help you and -- at the same -- help make NYSUT Member Benefits-endorsed programs & services more visible to your members.

NYSUT Member Benefits sends special one-time offers throughout the academic year consisting of an ad and graphic to be placed in your local's membership newsletter during a specified time period. Reprint the entire copy and the graphic in your newsletter in one of the months specified, send a copy of your newsletter to NYSUT Member Benefits, and your local association will be reimbursed $100. Please note that this is a one-time reimbursement per ad, not per issue.

Help for the Webmaster Program
Your local association’s website is one of the greatest ways to communicate to your members. The Help for the Webmaster program can help your local monetarily and -- at the same time -- help your members keep informed of NYSUT Member Benefits-endorsed programs & services.

Contact Member Benefits for a unique link to add to the homepage of your local's website; this will link to the Member Benefits website. Locals that keep this link on their homepage for a one-year period are eligible to receive a $100 reimbursement.
