#1: Legal Service Plan -- For a special reduced rate of $55 per year, NYSUT retirees can join our endorsed Legal Service Plan provided by the Law Firm of Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. This plan provides unlimited toll-free legal advice; a Simple Will, Health Care Proxy, Living Will and Power of Attorney; guaranteed maximum fees for many personal legal matters; and legal assistance at discounted rates throughout the continental United States. #2: Financial Counseling Program -- For an annual fee of $260 for the full-service plan or $185 for the 403(b) limited plan, NYSUT retirees can join our endorsed Financial Counseling Program provided by Stacey Braun Associates, Inc. This program offers access to a team of Certified Financial Planners® and Registered Investment Advisors that provide fee-based financial counseling services. Advice is unbiased, objective and customized for your financial situation.
#3: Dental Plan -- This plan pays benefits for preventive, restorative and major restorative services (including coverage for implants). You have the choice of using a participating dentist or going out-of-network. Greatest benefits are received and least out-of-pocket expenses are incurred when participating dentists are used. The plan features more than 60,000 participating dentists nationwide. Coverage can be added for spouses/domestic partners and dependent children.
#4: Abenity Discounts -- Enjoy access to approximately 290,000 exclusive member discounts across 10,000 U.S. cities, including discounted tickets for entertainment & sporting events; a variety of travel opportunities; and numerous local deals.
